Keep On Dreaming:
Erynn's Story

Meet Erynn Through Her Mother's Eyes

I’m Erynn’s mom, and I feel incredibly blessed to be able to support her journey. Erynn is 13 years old, and she loves singing, acting, modeling, fashion, and sports. She has been performing since she was very young, and her first-ever commercial was actually when she was a baby.

Since then, she has continued to explore different areas of the arts. She has developed a passion for performing both in front of the camera and on stage, as well as for modeling and fashion. She has worked hard to develop her skills and grow in each area.

She has been singing since she was 2 years old, and over the years she has grown into a young performer who truly loves being on stage, in front of the camera, and on the runway.

The Journey Begins

Erynn’s journey really started when she was very young. She did her first commercial as a baby for Ontario Child Care, and singing has been a huge part of her life since she was 2.

As she grew older, she discovered her love for acting, modeling, fashion, and performing. She was featured in Green Squad Season 2 on TVOKids in an episode featuring Erynn, and she also had the opportunity to star in the lead role of the short film Heaven Is a Witness. She currently has another film in the works that is expected to be part of a film festival.

Modeling has also become a very special part of her journey. She loves walking the runway, working with designers, expressing herself through fashion, and being able to bring a look to life with confidence and personality. She has had opportunities to walk for both Canadian and international brands, which have given her wonderful experiences and helped her grow as a model and performer.

She has continued to train and work hard throughout this journey, constantly learning, improving her skills, and challenging herself.

Pursuing Her Dreams

Erynn dreams of becoming a successful performer and continuing to grow in singing, acting, and modeling. She would love to perform on bigger stages, work internationally, be part of meaningful film and television projects, and continue walking runways for designers and brands she admires.

She loves the world of fashion and hopes to continue building her experience as a model while exploring opportunities in both the Canadian and international entertainment industries.

Most importantly, she wants to use her talents to inspire other young people to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams.

Challenges and Sacrifices

There are definitely sacrifices that come with supporting a child’s dream. The time, travel, training, rehearsals, auditions, runway preparation, and sometimes hearing “no.” There are also moments when opportunities don’t work out, and that can be difficult.

But Erynn has learned that every experience is part of the journey. Whether it’s an audition, a performance, a modeling opportunity, or a runway show, there is always something to learn.

She continues to train, work hard, and improve herself. We try to focus less on the outcome and more on what she learns from every opportunity. I want her to understand that success isn’t just about getting the job, it’s also about becoming better, stronger, and more confident along the way.

A Mother's Pride

Honestly, there are so many moments that make me proud. Seeing Erynn step onto a stage, in front of a camera, or onto a runway with confidence is incredibly special.

I think about the little girl who started at just 2 years old, and now I see her performing, acting, modeling, walking runways, and taking on opportunities that challenge her.

Seeing how much she has grown, not only in her talents but also in her confidence, discipline, and determination is what makes me most proud.

A Passion for Performing

She loves being able to express herself and perform. She especially loves singing live. There is something magical about standing on a stage, connecting with the audience, and sharing her voice.

She also loves fashion and modeling. She enjoys walking the runway, putting together a look, and bringing her own personality and confidence to every outfit. One brand she especially adores is Cloud and Mist because she loves their style, it’s so cute, unique, and fun. She loves wearing designs that make her feel confident and allow her to express her personality.

Most of all, she loves the experiences like meeting new people, traveling, learning, performing, modeling, and constantly challenging herself to become better.

Advice to Mothers

I would say: believe in your child, but don’t put pressure on the outcome. Let them enjoy the journey.

There will be auditions they don’t get, opportunities that don’t work out, and days that are difficult. What matters is teaching them to keep going, continue learning, and believe in themselves.

As parents, we can provide the opportunities and support, but we also have to listen to our children and make sure they are doing what they truly love.

Whether it’s acting, singing, modeling, sports, or something completely different, the journey should be something they enjoy—not something they feel pressured to achieve.

A Special Bond

We experience so much together. I’m there for her auditions, training, rehearsals, performances, modeling and runway events, travels, successes, and disappointments.

I want Erynn to know that no matter what happens, I will always be in her corner. I’m not just supporting her dreams, I’m experiencing the journey with her.

Some of my favorite memories are the little moments in between everything, the car rides, getting ready for events, practicing together, preparing for auditions and runway shows, celebrating the wins, and comforting her when things don’t go as planned. Those are the moments that make our relationship so special.
